Shipwrecks are some of our favorite underwater playgrounds. On the east coast of Bali, in a small town called Tulamben lies the USS Liberty Wreck. With the iconic Mt.Agung volcano in the background and lying just 20meters from shore, the Liberty Wreck is often listed as one of the top 10 wreck dives in the world.
It was another beautiful day in the magical island of Bali. A handful of us had rented a car and drove up from Canggu to Amed (north east coast of Bali) for a couple days of freediving and shipwreck exploration. On route back we drove through the mountains and spontaneously decided to make our way to a waterfall that we heard about from a fellow traveller. We only had a name, “Tukad Cepung”, and luckily it was listed on Google Maps. We love a good Bali waterfall mission.
Join us behind the scenes as we chase and document the eruption of Mt. Agung in Bali. We venture deep into the ash-ridden jungles to capture and witness the impact this volcano has on the Island of Gods.
